Questions & answers

Good to know.

Everything you might be wondering about the Healing Mass and how to take part. Still have a question? We would love to hear from you.

Who is the Healing Mass for?

Everyone. Whether you are in treatment, a caregiver, remembering someone you love, or simply want to stand with your neighbors, there is a place for you. All are welcome.

Do I need to be Catholic to attend?

No. People of every faith — and of no faith — are warmly welcome. Come as you are.

When should I arrive?

Prayers begin at 5:30 pm and the Mass at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2026. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a seat.

Where is it, and how do I get there?

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 123 William St, Springfield, MA 01105. Open directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Is there parking?

There is street parking in the area around the parish. If you have questions about getting there or need a hand, send us a message.

Can I bring my family and children?

Yes. Families, children, and friends are all welcome — bring a neighbor.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes. Light refreshments will follow the Mass in the parish center, so there is time to gather and visit.

I have an accessibility need. Who do I ask?

Please send us a message ahead of time and we will make sure you are comfortable and cared for.

Where do donations go?

All donations are allocated to Mercy Medical Center, supporting cancer care close to home for Western Massachusetts families. See our impact.

How can I help?

Volunteer, share the event, give, or partner with us — every bit helps. Get involved.
